Thailand's consumer protection agency investigates BYD dealers over unfair discounting practices, as a customer alleges a sales rep promised a price rise after a discount campaign, only for the dealer to further reduce it. This comes as BYD prepares to open its first EV production facility in Thailand's Rayong province. BYD, the world's largest EV manufacturer, has a 46% share of the Thai EV market.
