Pakistani-origin Canadian businessman Tahawwur Rana, linked to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, is extraditable to India under the plain provisions of the U.S.-India extradition treaty, according to U.S. attorney Bram Alden. Rana has appealed against a U.S. District Court in California order denying his writ of habeas corpus, which accepted the U.S. government's request to extradite him to India.
