Marks & Spencer plans to invest £38m in new stores in Bath and Bristol, creating 150 jobs and strengthening its city centre presence.

Marks & Spencer (M&S) announced plans to invest £38 million in major new high street stores in Bath and Bristol, reaffirming its commitment to city centres. Critics previously questioned the retailer's intentions to move some stores to out-of-town developments. The investment includes a new flagship store in Cabot Circus in Bristol and relocating to an 83,000 sq ft store in SouthGate Shopping Centre in Bath, creating around 150 new jobs in Bristol and strengthening the retailer's presence in the South West.
