Manchester's Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a 24/7 camping ban on city streets and parks.

Manchester's Board of Mayor and Aldermen has approved a new ordinance banning camping on city streets and in parks at all times, with immediate effect. Previously, the ordinance only prohibited camping between sunset and sunrise and when there was space available in an overnight shelter. The decision follows a U.S. Supreme Court ruling allowing communities to ban camping on public property even when shelter spaces are available.
