British No.1 Katie Boulter advanced through her first Wimbledon match, beating former semi-finalist Tatjana Maria in straight sets to reach the second round. Boulter's victory sets up an all-British second-round match against Harriet Dart, who defeated Chinese qualifier Bai Zhuoxuan. Boulter's win marks her first time being seeded at Wimbledon and her second grass court title after recently defending her Nottingham Open title.
