Indian online food delivery market predicted to grow at 18% annually, reaching Rs 2.12 lakh crore by 2030.
A joint report by Bain & Company and Swiggy predicts that the Indian online food delivery market will expand at an annual rate of 18% over the next seven years, reaching Rs 2.12 lakh crore ($28 billion) by 2030. The growth is expected to lead to an increase in market penetration for the segment to approximately 20% of the total food services industry, up from 12% in 2023. The overall food services market is projected to reach Rs 9-10 lakh crore ($124-133 billion) by 2030, driven by increased customer access and base expansion to around 450 million customers from 340 million, according to the study.
