A helicopter crashed near Invermere, British Columbia, on July 2, killing the pilot and injuring two passengers. The privately-owned helicopter crashed south of Invermere near Brewer Creek at 7 p.m. The pilot, a ranch owner, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two passengers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
