38 gold bars worth around Tk 4.5 crore were seized at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after being found abandoned on a Salam Air flight from Muscat. No arrests were made, but customs officials believe smugglers left the gold intentionally for associates to collect later. The gold bars were discovered after customs personnel searched the plane based on a tip-off.
