Cuba is reportedly building a new radar site that could potentially be used to spy on the US's nearby Guantanamo Bay naval base, according to Washington think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Satellite images reveal the site is under construction east of Santiago de Cuba near the El Salao neighborhood. The new site adds to Cuba's upgraded surveillance capabilities, which are thought to be linked to China.
