7,435 Class 10 & 12 Tripura students to sit for the 'bochhor bachao' exam in July, a state govt initiative in 2020. The exam allows students who fail two subjects to get promoted or enter college after clearing a retest, requiring a minimum of 150 marks. In this year's review, 747 students received fresh numbers, 21 passed, and 7 qualified for the 'bochhor bachao' exam.
