Calgary home sales fell 12.8% in June, with 2,738 properties sold, driven by a decline in lower-priced homes. Despite the decrease, sales were 17% higher than long-term trends. New listings dropped 3.6% YoY to 3,798, and inventory rose 9.2% YoY to 3,787 units. Calgary remains a competitive market, with 40% of homes sold in June going over the listed price, according to Ann-Marie Lurie, CREB's chief economist.
