AI startup Sentient Labs, co-founded by a Polygon blockchain executive, raised $85m from investors including Founders Fund. The Singapore-based firm, which aims to challenge Google and Meta's dominance in AI, is developing an open-source platform rewarding developers for contributions to emerging AI tools. The funds will be used for hiring and partnerships with academic institutions, ahead of the planned testnet launch in Q3.
