Elk Grove police arrested the son of a couple found dead in their home last week, as he reported their deaths to authorities. The 44-year-old son, Mark Navarrete, claimed he found his parents dead in their home after unsuccessfully trying to contact them. However, detectives found video evidence showing Navarrete parking his car a few blocks away and allegedly leaving in his parents' missing car. After serving a search warrant at Navarrete's home, he was arrested on two murder charges.
