46-year-old Effingham man, Michael J. McWhorter, arrested for aggravated arson at Lakewood Manor Trailer Park on June 30.
46-year-old Effingham man, Michael J. McWhorter, was arrested and charged with aggravated arson after a fire at Lakewood Manor Trailer Park. The fire occurred at around 1:29 a.m. on June 30, and spread to the exterior of a trailer occupied by one adult and two young children. No injuries were reported. McWhorter was booked into Effingham County Jail after evidence indicated the fire was set intentionally.
