70s man dies, man arrested following fatal A595 crash: A man in his 70s died and another man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a collision on the A595 at Bothel in Cumbria. The incident occurred at around 12:25am, and both drivers were involved in a collision between a black Toyota RAV and a blue Honda Civic. The road was closed for eight hours as an accident investigation team worked at the scene.
