The NHL reinstated former Chicago Blackhawks executives Stan Bowman, Al MacIsaac, and coach Joel Quenneville, who were banned in 2021 for their roles in mishandling a 2010 sexual assault case. The league stated that the individuals have shown remorse and gained greater awareness; they can now seek employment in the NHL. Former Hawks president John McDonough, involved in the cover-up, was not reinstated.
