New Zealand and Australia have handed over the upgraded Seghe Airfield to the Solomon Islands government. The $55M project is co-funded by the three nations and aims to improve air connectivity for the country's provinces, enhance safety and reliability of flights, boost local jobs, and support economic growth, including tourism and essential services. The upgraded airfield was implemented by Downer and AECOM.
