East Liverpool man, Joseph Boyer, accused of a 2022 knife attack on his former girlfriend, has had his jury trial rescheduled for August 26. Boyer, who had previously pleaded guilty to felonious assault and domestic violence, won a new trial following an appeal after the Seventh District Court of Appeal vacated his guilty plea and sentence. The attempted murder charge was dropped due to legal issues.
