High Court dismisses appeal by former Pacific Island Safety and Prevention Project head Betty Sio, who was found guilty of stealing $44k from the charity. SFO Director Karen Chang says, "Fraud that targets or disproportionately harms a particularly vulnerable community or group is a focus area for the Serious Fraud Office." The SFO also found that Sio's former operations manager, Tapualii Raewyn Uitime, stole around $216k.
