Golden State Warriors have signed former second-round pick De'Anthony Melton to a one-year contract worth $12.8 million, following Klay Thompson's departure to the Dallas Mavericks. Melton, a 6-foot-2 combo guard, averaged 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game with the Philadelphia 76ers last season. The Warriors used the non-taxpayer mid-level exception to sign Melton, which will hard-cap the team at $178.1M in 2024-25.
