Flood warnings issued in Lyon, Osage, and Wabaunsee counties in east-central Kansas due to excessive rainfall causing flooding in locations including Osage City, Burlingame, Allen, Admire, and Bushong. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and low-lying areas is imminent or already occurring. National Weather Service advises avoiding driving through flooded roads as most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
