The Calgary Flames re-signed forward Yegor Sharangovich to a five-year, $28.75 million contract ($5.75M AAV), after acquiring him in a trade in June 2023. Sharangovich scored 31 goals and 28 assists in 82 regular-season games. The Flames also signed goaltender Devin Cooley to a two-year contract with a max average value of $775,000 per year.
