A burst pipe in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales caused sewage to enter the River Ritec, potentially contaminating popular beaches including Tenby South, Castle, and North Beaches as well as Penally Beach. Natural Resources Wales has declared an abnormal situation, and Pembrokeshire County Council will place signs warning swimmers of potential pollution risk. Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has reported that the main has been isolated.
