Billionaire Barry Diller's company, IAC, is considering a bid for Paramount Global.
Billionaire Barry Diller, former Paramount Pictures chair, is reportedly considering a bid to acquire Paramount Global. Diller's company IAC has signed nondisclosure agreements with National Amusements, Paramount's controlling shareholder, following Paramount's aborted merger with Skydance Media. Diller, who led Paramount in the 1970s and 80s, aims to regain control of the studio that owns CBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon.
