Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, discussed COP29 UN Climate Conference, the "green" transition, entrepreneurship development, and potential areas of cooperation with Jamie Fergusson, Global Director for Climate Business at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and IFC, addressing goals set within the COP29 framework, collective commitments on climate finance, and potential areas of collaboration. Azerbaijan is set to host the COP29 event in November 2022.
