30-year-old woman airlifted to Port Macquarie Base Hospital after sustaining leg injuries on a walking trail at Hat Head. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called by the NSW Ambulance at 2:30pm on June 30. The woman was treated by paramedics before the helicopter's medical team arrived and airlifted her after treating and stabilizing her. Her current condition is stable.
