47-year-old Denise Toner, from Centre Hastings, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to operating an ATV while having 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood, causing the death of an eight-year-old boy in a single-vehicle accident. The incident occurred on October 22, 2022, when first responders found the child unresponsive on a lawn, and Ontario Provincial Police arrived at the scene at 5:48 pm.
