20 travellers were kidnapped by gunmen along the Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode Expressway on Sunday at around 9 pm. The incident occurred between Sagamu Area Command of the Nigeria Police and Ilisan township. One victim was shot in the knee and is receiving treatment at Babcock Teaching Hospital. The Ilisan Development Council Chairman confirmed the kidnapping and urged loved ones of people using that road to exercise caution.
