70+ terrorists neutralized, 5 camps destroyed in Lake Chad region by MNJTF in Operation Lake Sanity 2.

Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) troops neutralized over 70 terrorists and destroyed 5 camps in the Lake Chad region, as part of Operation Lake Sanity 2. The operation also resulted in the destruction of 8 vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs). The MNJTF, involving forces from Nigeria, Niger, Chad, and Cameroon, is combating terrorism within the Lake Chad Basin.
