5,000 students in four Sabah districts affected by school closures due to continuous rain and flooding, causing 10 schools to shut down. Six schools in Penampang, two in Tuaran, and one each in Papar and Sipitang are closed, impacting 307 teachers. The Education Department is working with the district office and Fire and Rescue Department to clean and restore the affected areas.
