Stingray Charlotte from Hendersonville's Aquarium & Shark Lab passed away despite rare reproductive disease treatment.

The viral stingray, Charlotte, from Hendersonville's Aquarium & Shark Lab by Team ECCO, has passed away. The stingray gained fame after being reported as pregnant despite having no male stingray in her tank. It was later announced she had a rare reproductive disease, which caused her to no longer be pregnant. Despite ongoing treatment, the stingray passed away on June 30.
