2 sailors rescued by Kinsale RNLI after yacht loses steering near Old Head of Kinsale.
Two sailors were rescued by Kinsale RNLI after their 34ft yacht lost steering and started drifting off the Old Head of Kinsale. The lifeboat crew found the sailors safe, wearing lifejackets, and towing their vessel to Kinsale Yacht Club marina. Kinsale RNLI praised the sailors for their preparedness and advised others to check weather, carry communication devices, and inform shore contacts of plans when engaging in water sports.
