RTÉ appoints Steve Carson from BBC Scotland as Director of Video and Patricia Monahan from Newstalk as Director of Audio to its leadership team. The appointments are part of RTÉ's new strategic plan and will be "pivotal" in the broadcaster's reshaping and transformation. Carson's appointment will see him "craft and execute a comprehensive editorial strategy" across all of RTÉ's television stations and RTÉ Player.
