Pune police plan to challenge the Bombay High Court's June 25 order directing the release of a 17-year-old boy involved in a fatal Porsche car crash in May. The HC had declared the Juvenile Justice Board's (JJB) order remanding the teenager to an observation home as illegal and stated that the law regarding juveniles must be implemented fully. The Pune police now intend to approach the Supreme Court against this order.
