NBA champion Boston Celtics sign guard Derrick White to a four-year, $125.9m contract extension, as reported by ESPN. The deal includes a player option. White, a two-time All-Defensive Second Team player, averaged 15.2 points, 5.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals in 73 starts during the 2023-24 season. White was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2017 and traded to the Celtics in February 2022.
