Irish Court of Appeal restricts man's legal actions against ex-partner due to unmeritorious conduct and excessive court visits.

The Irish Court of Appeal has prohibited a man from instituting any legal case or appeal against his former partner without prior permission from the court's president. The man's "consistent pattern of unmeritorious conduct" includes constant breaches of an order for access to their son and constant applications to court. The former partner claimed to have attended the District and Circuit Courts more than 100 times for family law applications over the last 12 years, causing her enormous personal stress and costing the family over €300,000.
