KPMG research reveals that Gen Z in Asia-Pacific heavily rely on influencers and TikTok for shopping decisions. Unlike previous generations who frequented department stores, Gen Z prefers to find trends online, following influencers and aspiring to wear the same clothing styles. Social commerce and livestreaming commerce are important to this generation, with 63% and 57% considering them essential respectively.
