Detroit Pistons hire J.B. Bickerstaff, former Cleveland Cavaliers coach, as their new head coach.

The Detroit Pistons have hired J.B. Bickerstaff as their new head coach, who previously coached the Cleveland Cavaliers. Bickerstaff led the Cavaliers to two consecutive playoff appearances before being let go. The Pistons are looking to revive their fortunes after a series of poor seasons and have recently undergone significant roster changes under president of basketball operations Trajan Langdon.
