China liberalizes trade in services between mainland and Hong Kong under CEPA.
China's Ministry of Commerce announces further liberalization and enhancement of trade in services between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong SAR, following consultations under the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) signed in 2003. The new measures target sectors where Hong Kong has competitive advantages, deepening economic and trade cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong.
