63 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles in Australia are recalled due to a manufacturing defect in the front seatbelt automatic locking retractors (ALR), causing premature locking and compromising the primary safety restraint. The issue does not comply with Australian Design Rule 04/06 – Seatbelts. General Motors Australia will contact affected owners to arrange free seatbelt retractor replacement.
