85% of Canadians feel proud to be Canadian, but 45% feel less proud than five years ago, according to a Leger poll.

A new poll by Leger shows that while most Canadians feel proud to be Canadian, their sense of national pride has decreased compared to a few years ago. Out of 1,607 surveyed, 85% said they are proud to be Canadian, but 45% said they feel less proud than they did five years ago. The poll also found that concerns such as income inequality and the state of the health care system impact people's pride in their country.
