British startup, Nyobolt, has developed a new lithium-ion battery that can charge an electric car's battery from 10% to 80% in just over four and a half minutes. This is twice as fast as the fastest-charging vehicles currently on the market. The 35kWh battery technology, demonstrated in a prototype, could significantly reduce charging times, alleviating range anxiety and easing congestion at charging bays.
