Belgium's Jan De Nul Group has signed a deal with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to install subsea high-voltage export cables for Taiwan's Fengmiao I offshore wind farm. The 90-km cables will connect the 500 MW wind farm, located 35 km off Taichung, to the onshore grid, providing power for 500,000 households. Jan De Nul Group will use its cable-laying vessel, Willem de Vlamingh, for the transport and installation.
