Asian Paints doubles Mysuru plant capacity to 6,00,000 KL per annum, investing Rs 1,305 crore.
Asian Paints has doubled the capacity of its Mysuru plant in Karnataka to 6,00,000 KL per annum by investing Rs 1,305 crore. The initial production capacity was 300,000 KL per annum, with the existing capacity utilization at around 78%. The company aims to meet medium-term capacity requirements with this expansion, amidst intensifying competition in the Indian paint industry.
