Anglo American suspended production at its Grosvenor steelmaking coal mine in Queensland, Australia due to an underground fire. All workers were safely evacuated, and the company estimates it will take several months to assess damage and resume operations. The mine is expected to contribute about a quarter of Anglo's steelmaking coal in the first half of 2024.
