12 Ajayi Crowther University students discharged due to insufficient evidence in murder case.
12 students from Ajayi Crowther University in Oyo were discharged by the Iyaganku Chief Magistrates' Court in Ibadan due to insufficient evidence linking them to the murder of their fellow student, Alex Timileyin. The 25 students were initially charged with conspiracy, murder, and negligence. The court granted bail to one university security guard, and the case has been adjourned to July 8th for mention.
