Air India, in collaboration with Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), is set to establish South Asia's largest Flying Training Organization (FTO) in Amravati, Maharashtra. The DGCA-licensed FTO, with 31 single-engine and three twin-engine aircraft for training, aims to train 180 commercial pilots annually, beginning operations in Q1 FY26. The initiative is expected to generate over Rs 1000 crore, boosting the Maharashtra economy and contributing to job creation in various sectors.
