At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Jack Perry won the vacant TNT Championship in a six-man ladder match, defeating Mark Briscoe, Dante Martin, Konosuke Takeshita, El Phantasmo, and Lio Rush. Perry, a member of The Young Bucks, captured the belt that was vacated due to Adam Copeland's injury. Following his victory, Perry is now the first member of The Elite to hold a singles title in AEW.
