20-year-old Sage Migwans from Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation on Manitoulin Island was charged with impaired driving after his vehicle was found in a ditch on June 27. Officers patrolling Highway 540 saw pedestrians looking into the ditch and discovered Migwans' vehicle. After no reported injuries, Migwans admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and was arrested for further testing.
