33-year-old Kevin Mandujano Garcia, an inmate at Sarasota Correctional Facility, was found unresponsive in the medical wing and later declared deceased. Medical staff attempted life-saving measures, but no signs of trauma or injuries were present. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is awaiting an autopsy report from the Medical Examiner's Office for more information. An ongoing investigation is being led by the SCSO's Criminal Investigations Section.
